Centering Unit
Mecatriel centering unit is a system made to center loads on a conveyor.
With a width of 4 or 5 feet, the centering unit is used to center and realign the load. The mechanism is made up of two carts linked symmetrically in such a way that loads are centered once it is activated. Each cart is supplied with a pivoting head adapted to the rollers. When the carts reach the protective cardboard (often found under bundles of cardboard), the heads lift it and pivot to center the load. The centering unit is often used to prepare loads for the strapping unit.
