Roller Conveyor

Mecatriel zero pressure roller conveyors are used to transport and accumulate loads. Thanks to the reaction speed of the drive and breaking systems, this conveyor allows a precise positioning of loads and minimizes the distance between them, which optimizes the use of the conveyor.

The conveyor is made of one or more sections. Each section is composed of a motorized pulley or geared motors, a PVC belt reinforced with polyester and numerous accumulation zones. Pneumatic actuators which engage or disengage in accumulation zones ensure precise control regarding the movements of the loads. Engagement of an accumulation zone is done by the contact between the belt and the rollers. Certain zones include a brake controlled by pneumatic actuators thereby procuring a precise positioning of loads.

The conveyor is made of structural C5 x 6.7 beams, which gives more resistance against lateral chocks. The roller supports are made of 3/8" thick laser cut steel for maximum precision of roller alignment. Roller supports are of the "Drop-in" / "Lift-out" type for easy access to the drive and control components therefore facilitating the maintenance of the equipment.
